Our journey
We started our vacation rental journey with an apartment in the back of our home, then building a 2-bedroom house with attached studio in year 2, completing a 2-unit rehab and adding a backyard Airstream for 6 units in Memphis with 90%+ occupancy. We employ a Barundi family from the neighborhood and meet new friends from all around the globe. In 2021 we added a house on Navarre Beach to our portfolio. Management is automated to require less than 4 hours of work per week.
The journey continues
Then in 2022, together with another couple, we purchased 10 acres of land in East Tennessee with a running creek and mountain views and developed four Geodomes on platforms, three Vintage Airstreams, and a Glamping Bell Tent site with bathhouse. All are operating as Vacation Rentals in the magical place known as Wanderlust Woods.
And now we’re sharing the joy
Glamping provides the greatest ROI and cash-on-cash return by far when compared to other short term rentals, especially during the current inflated housing market.
